Community-Based Research
Frost Center meets the data and research needs of West ²Ø»¨¸óÖ±²¥ and the Holland area by facilitating collaboration between community organizations, Hope College faculty experts, our professional research staff and undergraduate researchers.
Community partners we serve include non-profit organizations, local units of government, and area businesses.
Frost Center staff work closely with each partner, coordinating multiple methodologies to help them reach their goals. Our community-based research approach leverages the skills of all project participants and continues the Hope College history of college-community collaboration.

- Frost Center takes a community-based research approach. This means developing collaborative partnerships between West ²Ø»¨¸óÖ±²¥ organizations and Hope faculty experts, trained student researchers and the professional research staff of Frost Center. Together we develop and implement a research design that answers a question, addresses a community problem or provides data to guide change.
